The
small chapel was obtained from a palace room in 1913.
The altar, of the late XVIIIc., was adapted to the room.
The small altar-piece by Agostino Ugolini (1756-1824),
signed and dated 1795, is dedicated to the Immaculate
Virgin, who, in glory with the Infant Jesus, treads
on the dragon; below, in prayer, there are the Saints
Louis Gonzaga and Francis of Sales.
The altar.
The
furniture is completed by a beautiful sacristy wash-basin
(Venetia, half of the XVIIIc.) and by a precious home
little altar, made up of a crucifix and of two amber
candlesticks with ivory inlays of the Baltic area (Danzig
and Koenigsberg), to be dated in the second half of
the XVIIc., dedicated to the sacred Heart of Jesus.
